Concerns over road safety have increased following another motor accident involving comedian and content creator Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, known as Shank Comics.

The incident occurred on a Lagos highway and was captured during a live stream session.

Footage from the stream showed the comedian driving before the camera dropped, and a collision was heard.

The latest crash comes about six months after a similar accident in November 2025.

In that incident, a vehicle belonging to his associate was severely damaged.

Reacting on social media, Shank confirmed the development, stating that he survived the crash without injuries.

He urged his followers to prioritise safety while driving.

The recurring nature of the incidents has sparked reactions online, with many calling for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations.

Shank rose to prominence through comedy skits and has recently expanded into digital live-streaming content.

As of the time of filing this report, the Federal Road Safety Corps has not issued an official statement on the incident.
