Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), especially women facing reproductive health challenges, particularly those dealing with cancer, fibroids, and adenomyosis, will have the opportunity to receive expert guidance at the Abuja Reproductive Health Week 2025.

The event, scheduled for March 26th – 27th, is being organised by Nordica Fertility Centre in collaboration with the Secretariat of Health and Human Services of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

According to Nordica Fertility Centre, a key highlight of the event is a special onco-fertility session where medical professionals will learn about the latest advancements in fertility preservation for women undergoing cancer treatment.

It said the session aims to equip doctors with best practices to help female cancer patients explore fertility options before, during, and after treatment.

The second focus area of the event is fibroid and adenomyosis management, which will be addressed in an open forum for women at the Nordica Fertility Centre, Asokoro. Specialists will discuss available medical treatments, debunk myths surrounding these conditions, and guide women toward making informed health decisions, the centre explained.
