Dr. Bankole Allibay, the tournament’s initiator, announced that divisional qualifiers will continue with an exciting event in the Lagos Islands division. “We had a fantastic time hosting the teams in Ajegunle, and the turnout for today’s final speaks volumes. The Lagos Island tournament is set for two weeks’ time, and we are committed to concluding the qualifiers with another top-class event in Surulere,” he stated.
Bankole also outlined additional activities to kick-start this year’s state championship, which begins in October. These include a tech seminar for players, a celebrity match, and a world media parley. “Our aim is to prepare these players for life beyond football. We want to empower them with modern skills outside the pitch, which is why we are hosting a tech seminar during the state championship,” he added.all saint
