Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, national chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bidi’a Waikamatus-SunnahJIBWIS), Sheikh Bala Lau, national chairman of the APC Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State and other important dignitaries from all over the country yesterday witnessed the commissioning of the Jarman Kabi Juma’at Mosque in Argungu town in Kebbi State.
Speaking after the commissioning, the sultan called on other government officials, political appointees and well-to-do individuals to emulate Jarma’a’s initiative for the fulfilment of their religious obligations and development of their areas and the nation.
He commended Suleiman Argungu Jarman Kabi for building such a gigantic mosque in his town which according him would enable worshippers around and from the town to come and perform their juma’at prayers in comfort.
National chairman of JIBWIS, Sheikh Bala Lau encouraged Muslims to build places of worship in their domains once in their lifetime.
Bala Lau who was represented by Prof. Abdullahi Sale Pakistan commended the national organising secretary of the APC for sacrificing his wealth, energy and time to build the mosque.
