Do You Know Who I Am?

I did not see anyone jumping or cheering. My parents had invited friends over again to watch the finals. My Father had even ordered for a catering service for suya and Sinasir. There was a dead silence that was a bit eerie after all the noise coming from cheering the Super Eagles on.

It felt like a deep breath before the plunge and it was. After a while, with the suya and sinasir barely eaten by my parents and our guests, our family friends left, murmuring a goodnight you could barely hear.

My father after the shock, began to rave and rant about the match, while my mother watched on quietly. I could not say anything. The following day I began hearing stories of anger. A few tried to stay positive about it though. Well, what else can I say? Let’s hope to win the next one.
