Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State under the banner of Hope for Taraba 2027, have stormed the streets of Jalingo in a solidarity march for Senator Emmanuel Bwacha’s return to the governorship race in 2027.
The youths branded Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration “a monumental disaster” and “the worst in Nigeria’s history,” warning that Taraba was being dragged into economic rot and social decay under his watch.
Hon. Abdulrazak Mahmud Limam, leader of the group, and APC youth secretary Wilson Oguche, told journalists at the NUT House that Kefas’ government has become “a curse Tarabans will live to regret.” They accused the governor of plunging the state into poverty and stagnation, insisting that only Senator Bwacha has the pedigree to rescue Taraba from collapse.
“Governor Kefas is taking Taraba backwards at breakneck speed. His abysmal performance is fast turning this state into a graveyard of opportunities. We call on President Bola Tinubu to save us from this calamity by backing Senator Emmanuel Bwacha to liberate Taraba in 2027,” Limam declared.
The youths pointed to Bwacha’s record of development across the southern senatorial district as proof of his capacity to transform the state. “Bwacha has shown vision, courage, and results. He is the leader who can put Taraba on the global map of prosperity and human advancement. We will not be deceived by Kefas’ defection to APC — party membership cannot erase failure,” Oguche thundered.
Rejecting any notion of a second term for Kefas, the group vowed to mobilize Tarabans against what they described as “a regime of incompetence and betrayal.” They insisted that the 2027 election must be about rescuing Taraba from ruin, not rewarding failure.
“Senator Bwacha is our rallying point. He is the hope for Taraba. With him, we see a new dawn where generations will be proud of the foundation we lay today,” the group concluded with defiance.
