A tech expert, Akindayo Akindolani, has received an Innovation Award in Edtech.
Akindolani, who is the founder of McAnderson Institute of Technology, is a two-time awardee of the Edtech event, where he has been recognised for his contribution to the industry.
Recognised by the Federal Ministry of Education with an EdTech All Stars Innovation National Award for the McAnderson Institute under the category of Apps and Adaptive Learning Institute of the Year (MivAcademy) – 2020, and Received National Award: Edtech All-Star Award 2020 and Edtech Startup of the Year award at the Edtech Summit 2021 hosted by the Federal Ministry of Education.
In a recent panel session of the AfriTex EdTech programme, Akindolani, the visionary founder of McAnderson Institute of Technology, took centre stage to address a crucial topic: “Guardian of the Galaxy: Safeguarding Students Online.”
He emphasised the importance of parental involvement in monitoring the content and activities children are exposed to in the digital realm.
Akindolani, a two-time awardee at the prestigious AfriTex EdTech programme, secured the All Star Innovation National Award in 2020 under the category of Apps and Adaptive Learning Institute of the Year.
His dedication to excellence in education technology continued to shine in 2021, where he clinched the EdTech All Star Award.
