Terrorists Kill 2 Siblings, Kidnap 13 In Kaduna

Terrorists on Tuesday night attacked Katun Gida in Idon community of Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State killed two siblings and kidnapped 13 others.

A source in Katun Gida who pleaded anonymity disclosed this to LEADERSHIP in Kaduna.

According to him, the terrorists invaded the community around 11pm and started shooting sporadically.

“At about 11pm to 12am on Tuesday night, one of my out-stations in Katun Gida was attacked, two of my parishioners were killed during the attack.

“Thirteen were abducted, most of them are my church members, out of the 13 that were kidnapped, three of them escaped and the terrorists released a man whose wife was sick in order to take her to the hospital, ” the source said.

The two people killed are Bulu Yohanna and Silas Yohanna. He said eight other people are still with the bandits. “We have about 4 of the kidnapped victims from the same family”.

When LEADERSHIP contacted the police public relations officer in the state, DSP Muhammed Jalige to confirm the incident, he said, “Let me call the area commander and confirm. I will get back to you.”
