The statement said troops of 93 Battalion deployed in Wukari swiftly swung into action on 2 April 2024 and tactically laid in wait for the terrorists, made contact and engaged the terrorists in a fierce fun battle which led to the killing of four extremists.

At the end of the encounter, the troops recovered two AK-47 Rifles, one pump action rifle and two AK-47 magazine.

Similarly, on 27 March 2024, troops while on patrol around Chanchanji Ward of Takum Local Government area of the state, came in contact with terrorists.
