Marketing communications professional Anietie Udoh has been appointed to the global judging panel of the NYX Awards, underscoring the growing global recognition of African talent in the marketing and communications industry.

Udoh’s inclusion in the NYX Judging Council places him among an elite group of professionals drawn from diverse creative sectors worldwide.

According to the organisers, council members are carefully selected for their industry experience, creative insight, and proven ability to identify groundbreaking work that pushes the boundaries of excellence.

The NYX Awards noted that its jurors are individuals with “a keen eye for creativity and innovation,” tasked with evaluating entries that demonstrate originality, impact, and forward-thinking ideas across multiple disciplines.

The appointment marks another significant international milestone for Udoh, who has steadily built a reputation as one of Africa’s most respected voices in global conversations around creativity, media innovation, and brand storytelling.

Currently serving as divisional director of Marketing at Marketing Edge Publications, Udoh has consistently advocated for the elevation of African marketing talent on the global stage.

His latest recognition comes amid a string of international jury roles. In recent months, Udoh has been selected to serve on panels for several global competitions, including the World Media Festivals and other prominent platforms celebrating excellence in advertising, branding, and media communications.

They note that such appointments are critical for Africa, as they help ensure the continent’s unique creative expressions and market realities are represented in global industry benchmarks and trend-setting conversations.

By participating in these high-level panels, Udoh is not only contributing his expertise to shaping global standards but also amplifying African voices within the international marketing ecosystem.

His growing presence on the global stage highlights the expanding influence of African professionals in shaping the future of marketing and media, reinforcing the continent’s position as an important contributor to the global creative economy.
