The US-Israeli strikes across Iran since the war began have damaged more than 54,000 civilian units, including hundreds of medical facilities, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported today.
Tasnim said 29,146 residential units were damaged across multiple provinces, along with 6,851 commercial units nationwide. It also reported that 18,180 residential and commercial units were damaged in Tehran province.
The outlet said 236 medical, health, emergency and pharmaceutical facilities — including hospitals, medical centres, emergency bases and pharmacies — were damaged.
Tasnim said that 16 medical workers were killed and 96 others were injured in the strikes.
CNN reports that it cannot independently verify the figures or the circumstances of the reported damage.
