We Appreciate Buhari, Abdulsalam, Others Over Condolences – Bawa Family

The family of Alhaji Bawa Jega, led by Cigarin Jega, uncle to former EFCC chairman AbdulRashid Bawa and former general manager of NNPC Alhaji Ibrahim Yahaya Bawa, has expressed gratitude to the teeming personalities who came from different parts of the country and condoled the family over the demise of Hajiya Hadiza Lami Bawa, mother of the former EFCC boss AbdulRashid Bawa. The family is especially grateful to former President Muhammadu Buhari and former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, among others.

Yahaya Bawa who expresssed the appreciation during an interview with journalists in Jega yesterday said that it has become necessary on behalf of the family to express the appreciation to all personalities who left their official and personal responsibilities and engagements to condole the family over the loss.

The former NNPC retiree expressed their appreciation particularly to; former President Muhammadu Buhari, former Head of State, General Abubakar Abdulsalam, Abubakar Malami SAN, former Attorney General of the Federation, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aleiro, Business Mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal, Governors of Kebbi and Yobe, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and Mai Mala Buni, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu and Chairman Senate Committee on Water Resources, Senator Abubakar Abdulaziz Yari.

Others include the speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon Muhammed Usman Zuru, members of the Kebbi Assembly, members of the Kebbi State Executive Council and advisers among others.

He also commended the massive prayers offered for the deceased during the condolences by the teeming personalities held at the family’s residence in Jega.
