Wife of the general superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, the Rev. Best Amadi, has tasked women on righteous living and productivity as managers of the home front.

Mrs Amadi stated this in her goodwill message during this year’s Women’s Day celebration in the church, stressing that they should also be enterprising and strategic to be able to fulfill their destiny.

Anchoring the message in the theme of the celebration: “Pressing Forward To Know Christ”, the national women director of the church added that  personal knowledge of Jesus Christ was essential for destiny actualisation.

Amadi, who challenged Christian women to be the mirror that reflects the true life and beauty of Christ for the society to emulate advised them to increase their commitment to both evangelism and mission work.

“For Nigeria to move forward in the right direction as a nation, women must press forward in the right direction.

“Therefore, let’s keep pressing forward till we become the exact picture of what God desires us to be and for Him to use us to make the needed impact on the society,” she said.

National president of the women’s ministry of the church, Mrs Onyinyechi Steve-Oko, also advised women to participate fully in building and advancing the society.
