The Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state of flaunting the office of the president of Nigeria to harass and intimidate the people of Osun State.

A statement by the PDP chairman in the state, Hon. Sunday Bisi, said the anger emanating from APC’s self-inflicted electoral woes is such that they now see President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their only saving grace, having grounded all electable goodwill around them and their political life.

“While Senator Ajibola Bashiru and his allies in anger are at liberty to stay in the lane of ruins, which left them as men of yesterday in Osun State, we however must guard the interest of the good people of Osun State, especially when it comes to protection of their lives.

“Therefore, any action capable of disrupting the peace being enjoyed by the people of Osun State under the PDP government of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke will be resisted by whatever means possible under the law.

“We believe the office of the president is for the general interest of Nigerians as against the lazy butterfly confusing the political stomach of Apc gluttons in Osun State. The president of Nigeria cannot be coerced into destroying Osun State under the guise of resurrecting a dead horse of Apc in the state”.
