The Coalition of Youth Groups in Nasarawa State, a conglomeration of 26 youth groups across tribes and religion, has endorsed Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket.
The coalition said its endorsement of Wadada was rooted in his exceptional leadership qualities, commitment to the people, and alignment with the progressive agenda for the state.
In a press conference delivered by coalition leader Jafar Loko, the group commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for adopting Wadada as his preferred choice after extensive and thorough consultations that included youth groups.
He commended Governor Sule for developmental strides in investments, security and youth empowerment, noting that the governor had attracted capital, stabilized the state, and launched initiatives to equip young people with skills and resources.
He said Wadada is the ideal candidate to sustain, consolidate, and continue the excellent work initiated by Governor Sule’s administration.
He cited the senator’s legislative record as a former House of Representatives member and current Senator for Nasarawa West in the 10th National Assembly.
It also highlighted his philanthropy through the Wadada Education Foundation and his understanding of the state’s challenges.
“He possesses the vision, capacity, and empathy to build upon the existing foundations and usher in an era of even greater prosperity and development for all,” Loko said.
