In a statement signed by the state APC publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the party expressed optimism that the appointee would make President Tinubu’s administration proud.

The party described Yazid’s appointment as a source of joy that further strengthened the hope of the citizens in the APC administration and assured that it would benefit Nigerians.

“We assure you that this appointment will be a source of pride to the Tinubu-led government. Hon. Yazid will deploy much experience and expertise as a seasoned banker and technocrat to discharge his added national responsibility,” the party said.

It also expressed gratitude to its leader, the immediate past governor of Zamfara, and the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, whose continued effort it said, had placed Zamfara State in a vantage position in the country.
