Hollywood actress Zendaya has dismissed viral images suggesting she secretly married her longtime partner, Tom Holland, describing them as artificially generated and misleading.
The actress addressed the rumours during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, clarifying that the widely circulated wedding photos were generated by artificial intelligence.
Zendaya said the images were convincing enough to mislead fans and even people within her close circle.
“Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘They’re AI. They’re not real,” she said.
She added that some friends were upset, believing they had been excluded from what they thought was a private wedding ceremony.
The rumours gained traction after her longtime stylist, Law Roach, jokingly suggested during a red carpet interview that the couple had already tied the knot.
Although the remark was made in jest, it quickly went viral and contributed to speculation online.
Zendaya and Holland first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and have since become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples.
Reports of their engagement surfaced in late 2024, further fueling public interest in their relationship.
Despite the wedding rumours, the couple is understood to be still engaged, with no official announcement of a ceremony.
