The state public relations officer of the NYSC, Mr. Jacob Unogwu, disclosed this to journalists in Bauchi yesterday.

He said the registration of prospective corps members will begin from July 30 to midnight of July 31 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa local government area of the state.

He explained that the prospective corps members’ swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for August 1, and the orientation exercise will end on August 19.

Unogwu emphasised that only verified graduates would be admitted into the camp, adding that a thorough screening process would be conducted to prevent impersonation and ensure camp security.

“All prospective corps members must adhere strictly to the registration schedule and camp regulations. Defaulters will face appropriate sanctions in line with NYSC guidelines,” he warned.

He also cautioned against embarking on late-night journeys and urged participants to arrive at the camp early for their own safety.

Furthermore, Unogwu reminded corps members to respect the camp’s dress code and conduct themselves with discipline and diligence throughout the orientation.
