While noting that the development followed a sustained clearance raid operations conducted by the Command at strategic locations in the state to rid it of criminal elements and ensure the protection of life and properties of citizens, Kiyawa said, the suspect is currently in custody at the Command’s Homicide Section, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for detailed investigation and further necessary actions.

He, however, quoted the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Bakori, to have appreciated Umar’s decision to surrender and urged others involved in similar crimes to follow suit, noting that no stone will be left unturned in curtailing criminal activities in the state.
