Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi was named Man of the Match following the team’s hard-earned win over Saudi Arabia.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side got their campaign back on track at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup with a 3-2 win over the Asians.

Bameyi scored Nigeria’s winning goal from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time.

The centre-back put up an impressive display in the keenly contested encounter.

The 19-year-old showed his leadership quality helping to keep the opponent at bay especially in the second half.

Nigeria will face Colombia in their last group game on Monday morning.
