Three years to the end of the current administration in 2027, a group called Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates, NTCA, has declared no vacancy in Aso Rock but the continuity of President Bola Tinubu in office until 2031.

The convener, NTCA, Hon Henry Nwanbueze, made the declaration while speaking at a crucial meeting in Abuja, with the state and zonal coordinators of NTCA in attendance.

Nwanbueze stressed and pointed out the critical importance of unity and constructive efforts as cardinal pillars to sustain the life of Nigeria. Therefore, he called on Nigerians to put their differences aside and ensure they pray for the country and the president to navigate the country through its challenging times successfully.

Therefore, he cautioned against protests that could be inimical to the peace, development and unity of the nation at this point and added that dialogue and exploring productive engagement would bring better results instead of bitterness and unnecessary political manipulations of the citizenry against the government under the guise of protest hiding under constitutional rights.

“Those interested in the 2027 presidency should understand that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock”, he declared.

He further stated that what is currently needed is a collective effort for national success, which, according to him, “the success of the ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda requires collective effort from all Nigerians.”
He (Nwanbueze) also called for patience and faith in the government’s plans, urging the youth to be part of the solution instead of being manipulated by unscrupulous and disgruntled political elements.

He said, “In these difficult times, prayer and unity are what our nation needs now. We must come together to support our president and ensure his vision for Nigeria is realised. By doing so, we can avoid the pitfalls of unrest and work towards a brighter future.”

Meanwhile, he also pointed out that the president’s agricultural initiatives serve as an avenue for youth to explore amidst the hunger situation. Hence, he said that hunger would be drastically reduced if youth were fully involved and engaged in food production across various value chains.

He emphasised the importance of agricultural initiatives to combat hunger and make food more affordable. Therefore, he encouraged the youth to engage in agricultural schemes across all States, which could significantly reduce food scarcity and lower prices.

“Our agricultural sector has immense potential. By embracing farming and related activities, we can tackle hunger, create jobs, and contribute to the overall stability of our economy”, he stated.

In an appeal to the National Assembly, Comrade Segun Nelson, secretary general of the organisation, he reiterated the convener’s position in a closing remark, calling on young people to be focused and ensure measurable demands.

He said NASS should cut down their budgets to support President Tinubu, who had been discussing cutting the cost of governance.

He also maintained that the agricultural sector remains the main way to address numerous challenges, including food affordability, accessibility, and availability, and it would create massive jobs for young people and women.

“At this critical juncture, our focus should be on constructive efforts and supporting our leaders. Agriculture can be a cornerstone of our economy, providing sustenance and employment. Let’s work together to achieve this vision,” he added.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the state coordinators to spread the message of hope and solidarity among the youth in their regions.

They pledged to support the president and promote agricultural initiatives, believing in the power of collective effort and positive action.

Similarly, the group showered encomium on the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, who created a record of moving a serving president of Nigeria out of Aso Rock on commissioning of laudable project of national importance as President Bola Tinubu moved around the Abuja City commissioning projects executed by the Wike-led FCT administration and to mark his one year in office.

According to the group, the president was visibly happy about the great job Wike had done as a game changer in FCT development, as he went around commissioning roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

The group also said that based on reports by the media, many residents in the FCT suburbs have attested to and hailed Wike’s performance because of the impact of his developmental projects in terms of road infrastructure and security, which was a replica of what he did in Rivers State as governor for eight years, and same impact is currently felt in Abuja. Therefore, Wike is one of the ‘star boys’ of the Tinubu-led administration.
