The police in a combined operation with hunters have killed 10 kidnappers in Gajin-Duguri, Alkaleri local government area of Bauchi State.

Spokesman of the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, disclosed this in a statement yesterday.

He said; “On 15th September 2023 at about 1900hrs the command’s “Operation Sharan Daji” team in conjunction with relevant stakeholder (hunters) led by CSP Makama Magaji acted on credible intelligence and swiftly ransacked a suspected kidnappers’ enclave and engaged the culprits in a heavy gun battle and consequently emerged victorious as a result of superior firepower.

“The operatives successfully defaced the suspected kidnappers to whisk them away in disarray with serious bullet wounds into the nearest bush and successfully rescued kidnapped victims therein.
