Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has sacked the 21 local government area chairmen and their secretaries.
Idris who announced the dissolution at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi on Monday after meeting with them said their removal followed the expiration of their tenure in office on February 5, 2024.
He directed them to handover the affairs of the councils to the director of personal management of their respective local government.
