NWFL: Bayelsa Queens Will Sign More Players, Says Coach

Bayelsa Queens head coach, Whyte Ogbonda, says the club will strengthen the squad with more players for the upcoming campaign.

Enterprising strikers Mary Lucky and Janet Akekoromowei are the latest additions to the reigning Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions.

Ogbonda expressed delight with the club’s newly recruited players.

“I’m very pleased with the quality of players we’ve brought in so far,” Coach Ogbonda said.

“Janet Akekoromowei and Lucky Mary are both proven attackers with the hunger and talent to help us compete at the highest level.”

Bayelsa Queens will participate in the CAF Women’s Champions League next season.
