Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has revealed that teammate Victor Osimhen played a significant role in his journey to success. Adams, who scored on his debut for the national team, credited Osimhen’s support during his challenging time in Europe, inspiring him to make an impact on the pitch.

He replaced Tolu Arokodare in the 63rd minute of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier and made an immediate impact by scoring in the 80th minute, calmly slotting home after connecting with a precise pass from Osimhen.

The Sevilla star noted via his official Instagram handle that he is living his dream thanks to Osimhen’s timely motivational message. He shared how Osimhen encouraged him when he was struggling to find his footing in European football with Norwegian club Sogndal, shortly after representing the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
