Polish football is in mourning following the death of assistant national team coach Jacek Magiera at the age of 49.
Magiera, who had served in the role since July 2025, reportedly collapsed while out for a run.
Tributes have poured in from across the football world, including from Matty Cash, who described him as “an amazing man” who would be “missed dearly”.
His passing marks a significant loss for Polish football and the wider European game.
