My Last Album Gulped $2m, Says Davido

Popular music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his last album, titled ‘A Better Time’ released in 2020 gulped $2million, which equals to N920,660,000,000.00.

‘A Better Time’ was the musician’s third studio album.

Davido made this known during his ongoing media tour for his new album ‘Timeless’ in the United States.

Speaking on the Morning Show on Hot 97FM, New York, the OBO crooner explained that the figure covered features, videos, and promotions.

He added that he spent more on his third album than his latest one ‘Timeless’ and yet so far, he has already made more money from the new album.

He said, “My last album, I will tell you, I probably spent $2 million. That is for everything. You know what I’m saying?

Davido’s third studio album, ‘A Better Time’, was released in 2020 with guest features from American heavyweights such as Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Lil Baby, and Summer Walker.
