A driver at Government House, Yola, Alhaji Danjuma Mohammed, promised to enroll his children back to school who were hitherto withdrawn due to financial constraints.

“I’m glad to receive a N50,000 increase in my monthly salary. The funds would go a long way in alleviating my family’s suffering,” he said.

Usman lauded Governor Fintiri for being a man of his words by fulfilling his promise to the civil servants.
Another civil servant, John Yusuf working with Adamawa State Television (ATV), Yola, promised to use the salary increment to purchase fertilizers for his farm and foodstuff for his family.
