ADC Disowns ‘Nationwide Aspirants’ Seminar’ Notice, Warns Against Fake Communication

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has disowned a notice currently circulating on social media and other platforms announcing a purported “Nationwide Aspirants’ Seminar” and requesting payment of registration fees.

In a disclaimer issued on Saturday and signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC said the notice did not emanate from its leadership and should be disregarded by members, aspirants and the general public.

The party clarified that the information was neither issued nor approved by its National Working Committee or any recognised organ of the party.

According to the statement, the circulating message is not an official communication of the party and does not represent its position or activities.

The ADC therefore cautioned its members and political aspirants to ignore the notice in its entirety and avoid making any payments or commitments based on the unauthorised information.

It further stressed that all official communications, directives and announcements of the party are released only through established and verified channels of the organisation.
