Following an unprecedented impact via adding value to the lives of Nigerians, a youth leader and public affairs commentator, Adeola Ademokoya, yesterday, described two selfless entrepreneurs and philanthropists, Amb Chijioke Nwadavid and Hon Shina Peller, as gifts to youth and humanity.

Ademokoya said he got endeared to the duo based on their uncommon collaboration that has transformed the lives of young people.

She said: “Young people are effortlessly showing the true meaning of selflessness by pushing towards more growth and development, not just within their communities or comfort zones, but towards others as well.

“This is a story of two young men, one a rising star in charity and politics, while the other is already established but doing a great deal of progressive contributions to his community without letting others know.

“As a writer, I stumbled upon a very “expensive” donation that was made to the youth of Iseyin Community in Oyo State, on December 9th 2021.

“No formal announcement was made, no press fanfare, just the people of the town and two very generous young men by the names of Honorable Shina Abiola Peller a Nigerian entrepreneur, politician, Industrialist, and a member of the 9th National Assembly .and Ambassador Chijioke Emmanuel Nwadavid an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador for the West African Youth Council; from Mgbowo, Alachara Village in Enugu State; as well as political candidate in his native town.

“Under the umbrella of differently owned foundations namely NecBullion Charity Foundation and Shina Ayo Empowerment Program, in a nation where cultural clashes have unfortunately been taking off in different areas, these two men are shining the light on the importance of collaboration over the competition as well as the need for unification under one Nigeria because as Nigerians, there should be no walls or fences between us.
Having said that, the question on everyone’s mind is what might these expensive (bearing in mind the word expensive used is relative) donations be, and why is it now important?

“Well, the donations made brand new apple desktop systems, for the youth to have viable access to online tools, applications, and the world wide web to help usher them into the now borderless world. The decision to donate these were based on shared experiences by both men (though at different times) where thanks to their upbringing were able to harness the positive power of new-age technology to grow, develop, teach, learn and connect and their wish is for others not to be deprived or limited based on their situation or background.

“It is important to note that after some research, I found out that this is not the first time such generous donations have been made (once again with little or no fanfare) such as books, more computers, sanitary pads for young girls, toys, clothes food items, etc. for orphans not just within their home states but outside as well.

“The NecBullion Charity Foundation seeks to improve the quality and digital education of Nigeria and Nigerians, while extending its widows might to foreign allies i.e., Turkey.

“The Foundation was established to grow the ICT sector from the ground up, starting with primary school children to grown youths as well as elders who were open to the concept of growth and development beyond the village border.

“Two selfless entrepreneurs collaborating for the positive growth and development of people in various communities. We hope to see more positive approaches to development as the years pass.

“Kudos to them for reminding Nigerians that together is always better than separate and we are so much more capable as a unit. My dream is to see more collaborations like this, done not for fame but for the future of generations unborn, where mental slavery, background limitations, insecurities, and the like will be slowly eradicated. Well done to Ambassador Chijioke Nwadavid and Honorable Shina Peller.”

Meanwhile, according to her (Ademokoya) the foundation plans to establish ICT centers in six geopolitical zones in Nigeria; Abuja, Oyo State, Enugu State, Delta State, Borno, and Kano State, so far, they have been able to commission two in Abuja and Oyo State.

She added that the NecBullion Foundation has done extensive projects in Awgu (the East) through sensitization and distribution of educational materials including books, bags ad earlier mentioned sanitary pads for girls in high school.

“There is the hope that shortly with a lot of grit and determination, another ICT Center will be commissioned in Agwu as well,” she said.
