The APC Youth Development and Solidarity Forum (APC-YDSF) has called on President Bola Tinubu to consider Buraimoh Peter Folajimi from Lagos State for a ministerial appointment, as stakeholders vie for ministerial positions.
During a news conference in Abuja, the group’s president, Olamide Dare, disclosed that Buraimoh had meetings with President Tinubu at the government house on Wednesday, although the purpose of the meeting is still unknown.
Tinubu is expected to submit ministerial nominees’ names to the Senate for confirmation before the July 28 deadline stipulated by law.
Olamide emphasized that nominating Buraimoh would showcase APC as a party that rewards loyalty and commitment, highlighting Buraimoh’s significant contributions and support during the last general elections.
He added that Buraimoh’s philanthropy, diligent services, professionalism, global economic expertise, and commitment to the youth make him the most competent candidate for the ministerial position from Lagos.
