Bago reassured that his administration will continue to collaborate with the military to provide a conducive atmosphere for all the security agencies in the State and enable them to carry out their duties of ensuring the safety of the citizenry’s lives and property.

He noted that the service of those who paid the supreme price with their lives to ensure peace and security in the state and the country at large cannot be overemphasized. He said the state government would continue to support the widows and the widowers for them to have a sense of belonging in the society.

At the event a N50 million cheque was presented  to the Niger State Chapter of the Nigerian Legion.
