Former Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates, Zion Ogiefa and Chinwe Elibe, formally known as ZINWE Duo, have publicly addressed the end of their relationship during the latest reunion episode, revealing conflicting accounts of how things fell apart.

The pair, who were already romantically involved before joining the reality show, confirmed their split on Monday night. While both agreed that the relationship had ended, the reasons behind the breakup sparked heated disagreement.

Zion had claimed he initiated the breakup due to diverging life goals.

“I basically ended things because I basically felt we were moving in different places in our lives, and how she let it play out,” he explained.

His comment, however, didn’t sit well with his former partner, Chinwe, who immediately challenged his version of events. She accused Zion of misrepresenting the circumstances surrounding their breakup.

“What Zion would not do is sit here and lie on me now. You could have owned the narrative, my love, what do you mean by you broke up with me?” she fired back.

She went on to describe a significant incident that she said triggered their final fallout. According to Chinwe, she had travelled to Lagos to celebrate Zion’s birthday, but the evening ended sourly.

“We had plans to spend time together, but he went clubbing with his friends and never came home to me,” she said.

Frustrated and feeling disrespected, Chinwe said she left Lagos the next morning and blocked Zion on all platforms.

“I was pissed off. I left the next day, blocked him on calls, socials, everything,” she recounted.
