Venita Akpofure published the official teaser for the upcoming film about love, heartbreak, betrayal, and infidelity on X (previously known as Twitter), confirming Amara as her role.

The Big Brother Naija star is set to leave her mark on the silver screen as she portrays a complex character – a homewrecker.

She appears in the story as the antagonist who wrecks havoc on the life of a devoted couple, according to the recently released clip.

Insecure, a film written and directed by Ben Nwokike, centers on a couple who are caught up in a complicated circumstance where they initially become romantically involved but later turn into foes.

In the teaser, Efe Iwara and Beverly Naya’s personas can be seen changing from what appears to be a madly in love pair to people at odds with each other.

Insecure is set to premiere early next year, according to Akpofure and the producers’ tweet.

Ade Laoye, Demi Bawo, Micheal Ejoor, Darasimi Nadi, Daniel Abua, Tope Olowoniyan, Tunbosun Aiyedehin, and Anthony Azekwoh are among the cast members.

Abdul Tijani-Ahmed, who will soon debut a series called Dear Diane, is in charge of producing the movie. The future project follows two people as they pursue their individual talents for painting and presenting while discovering love and companionship via the phone.
