Bukar Ibrahim: Yobe Declares Today Work-free Day

Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, has declared today as a work free day to observe the three-day prayers for the late former governor of the state, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim.

In a press statement signed by director-general of press, and media affairs to the governor, Mamman Mohammed, he said the day should be used to offer prayers for the former governor who died in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

He said the three-day prayers for Ibrahim who was buried in Mecca would be observed at the Government House Mosque, Damaturu, the state capital.
The state government has taken over the funeral and condolence rites in honour of the deceased.
