The Confederation of African Football (CAF) unveiled the official match ball for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.

The match ball, named ITRI, draws inspiration from Morocco’s centuries-old zellij art form and pays tribute to the star featured on the Moroccan flag.
The ITRI ball, according to CAF, will make its debut in the opening match of AFCON 2025, where hosts Morocco will face Comoros in the opening game of the competition.

The AFCON 2025 finals will kick off on Sunday, 21 December.
