The caretaker committee chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Dr Ben Nwoye, has declared that the ongoing decline in the prices of food items and other commodities is a testament that the reforms embarked upon by President Bola Tinubu were yielding results.
Nwoye also expressed satisfaction over the decline in food prices and fuel, stressing that President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda has started to work.
The APC chieftain spoke while interacting with journalists at the ongoing training of supervisors for the E-Registration exercise of the APC across the 17 local government areas of the state.
Nwoye stated that similar training will be extended to the grassroots after the supervisors have received it.
The APC chieftain explained that the party decided to embark on the training to eliminate the frustration people face while attempting to join the party.
He further disclosed that the training will enable the party to have accurate data on every member, as well as its numerical strength, ahead of future elections.
Nwoye further stated that the electronic registration exercise will help members of the party sustain the “Tomorrow is Here” agenda of Governor Peter Mbah and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, thereby ensuring their reelection in 2027.
The APC chieftain said the party will use the data from the exercise to determine its membership strength, with a view to canvassing votes for the president and the governor.
While advising the electorate to participate in the exercise, Nwoye commended the state coordinator, Chief Flavour Eze, and coordinators across the three senatorial districts for their efforts.
