Governor Fintiri made this statement in Michika, Adamawa state, yesterday during the presentation of office staff to His Royal Majesty, Mbege Ka Michika, Prof  Bulus Luka Gadiga.

He added that it is a “positive response to the people’s request.” He stressed that “your remarkable wealth, sound education and profound talents should serve as assets for raising the prestige and development of the Chiefdom. I call on all Michika sons and daughters to jettison the individualistic republic mindset and imbibe the culture of unity, solidarity, and community spirit.”

In his acceptance speech, Prof Gadiga said: “As your Mbege, I will prioritise transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. My reign will strive to ensure that every voice is heard and every concern is addressed to the best of my ability. Together, we will break the wall of prejudice and build a community where everyone feels valued and empowered.

“I am committed to uniting our people for the progress of all and to leading with integrity, respect for our traditions, and a commitment to improvement. I invite every one of you to join me on this journey. Let us unite as a community and work together to advance our shared goals.”
