Apex Igbo social-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has described the legacies of late elder statesman and businessman Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata as a dependable cornerstone for future generations.
The president-general of Ohanaeze, Senator Azuta Mbata, stated this while commiserating with the family of the late businessman.
Mbata stressed that though his death was a great loss, they would continue to find solace in his legacies, which constitute a dependable cornerstone for future generations.
He added that he recognises Alhaji Dantata as a legend who has paid his dues in nation-building and human capacity development, with his impactful, robust endeavours spanning over half a century.
The Ohanaeze president general stated that all standards regard the late elder statesman as an icon with monumental importance to humanity.
He also commiserated with the Emir of Kano, His Highness Dr Muhammadu Sanusi II, His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf, the state executive governor and the good people of Kano State.
“Our prayer is that this generation of youths should find it worthy to emulate Alhaji Dantata’s sense of industry, focus, and resilience, where hard work and discipline are the standards for self-development and success.
“Ohanaeze prays that God may grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear this irrecuperable transition,” he stated.
