The Ekiti State government has disclosed that public and private primary and secondary schools in the state would resume tomorrow for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The schools had been on holiday since December following the completion of the first term of the 2025/2026 academic session for the Christmas and New Year festivities.

Ekiti State Commissioner for Education, Dr Olabimpe Aderiye in a statement on Saturday added that the state government will continue to provide the direction and regulations needed for excellent outcomes in schools.

Aderiye said all teachers and learners are expected to resume on the announced date, as academic activities would commence immediately.

“The resumption is in accordance with the approved calendar for the academic year.
