Entertainer Tagwaye Bags Doctorate Degree For Humanitarian Services

The Institute of Professional Economists and Policy Management (IPEPM) has awarded Obinna Simon popularly known as MC Tagwaye an honorary doctorate degree.

Simon was honoured by the Institute on April 08, 2025 for his outstanding humanitarian work and contributions to society.

As a renowned entertainer, businessman, politician, and youth leader, Obinna Simon has dedicated his life to serving others. Born in Katsina State, Nigeria, and hailing from Anambra State, he has used his platform to lead impactful initiatives that have positively impacted countless lives.

Through his efforts, Simon has Awarded scholarships to over 100 less-privileged students, empowering them to pursue their educational goals.

Speaking after receiving the award, Simon expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am humbled and honored to receive this award. I dedicate this achievement to the less-privileged students, individuals, and communities I have had the privilege to serve. I will continue to use my platform to promote positive change and empower those in need.”
