Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed deep sadness over the death of elder statesman and former military administrator of Plateau State, Senator Muhammad Mana.
“Senator Mana lived a life marked by service, sacrifice, and dedication to the cause of nation-building. From his illustrious military career where he rose to the rank of Colonel, to his stewardship as Military Administrator of Plateau State where he distinguished himself as a disciplined officer and patriotic leader,” Governor Fintiri said.
He added, “In 2007, the people of Adamawa North found in him a worthy representative and sent him to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). There, he carried out his legislative duties with humility, dignity, and an abiding commitment to justice, fairness, and development.”
He further described the passing of Senator Mana as “a huge loss, not only to Adamawa State, but to the entire nation.”
Fintiri condoled the family, the people of Adamawa North Senatorial District, and all Nigerians who mourn this irreparable loss.
“I pray Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul firdaus, and give his family the strength to bear the loss,” he prayed.
