Fintiri Reconstitutes Christian Board

Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved the reconstitution of the state Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board aimed at rejigging the board.

The governor appointed Mr Geofrey Garba as the new executive secretary of the board.

The members include; Rev. Theophilus Shadrach – chairman; Rev. Moses Luckson; Rev. Fr. Anslemn Kachalla; Rev. Bukar Lala; Pastor Biyasa Abraham; and Rev. Joel Lamba as members.

Others are Pastor Alfred Enoch Sunama, representative of the Southern Zone; Rev. Father Sixtus Wuylshiri, representative of the Central Zone; Representative of the Northern Zone; Representative of the Ministry of Justice; Representative of the Ministry of Finance; and Representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Fintiri wished the board members well and urged them to steer the office with decorum and the fear of God, as ordained ministers.

“The board will be inaugurated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of the Deputy Governor,” the statement from the governor reads.
