As condolence messages continue to pour in from friends, a former colleague and Editor of the weekend stable, Lara Olugbemi in a Facebook post said, “We started working at the LEADERSHIP the same week, back in 2006, and we soon became very good friends. Over the years, you became a sister; you and your beautiful children became family.
“We chatted via WhatsApp just last month… You never told me you were not well. Now, today I hear you’re gone? This is really, really hard to accept. You were such a beautiful person, a gentle soul, honest and hardworking. May God comfort your children, your family, LEADERSHIP, and all who knew you dear sis.”
She will be buried today at 2pm, after prayers at the Central Mosque in Abuja.
She is survived by her children and other relatives.
