Barring last-minute change, the Rivers State governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, will make his first state-wide broadcast to the people of the State after his return to the office this Friday.
The much-anticipated broadcast on the State-owned television station is scheduled for 6:00pm on Friday evening.
Fubara had earlier in the day arrived Government House, Port Harcourt, along with his wife, Valerie, and Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie.
Addressing his supporters briefly after arrival at the Government House, the governor thanked the people of the state for their show of love to him.
Fubara said: “I know everybody expect me to say something when I landed at the airport. Let me first of all appreciate the wonderful people of Rivers State.
“I was really humbled with what I saw at the airport. I have been briefed about what happened here yesterday; the reception. I am ready humbled by that.”
