Group Urges Igala To Foster Peace, Shun Discrimination For Rapid Development

A social cultural group “Strong Igala Youth, has called on sons and daughters of the Igala kingdom both home and diaspora irrespective of their locations to unite and shun discrimination to ensure rapid growth and development of the the land.

The Founder and the National president of the organization Prince Seidu Adamu Popularly known as carton boy made the call when he paid a walking visit to the Lagos chapter of of the organization in Lagos state.

Speaking with journalists after the visit the Prince Adamu who lamented that the underdevelopment in Igala land was partly due to the people who have constituted themselves as cog in the wheel of progress pointed out that such act was not in any way promoting the good image of Igala land, and do not reflect the culture and tradition of Igala kingdom.

Comrade Carton boy while commended the association Lagos state chapter for their resilient urged them to get more members into its fold, saying, ‘the movement is an ideological one, which has penchant for the development of Igala land”.

He explained that the organization was established, to identify and support Igala people having the penchant track records for the development of Igala land.

Prince Seidu added that the association was also aimed at uniting all sons and daughters at Igala towards awareness, recognition, appreciation and encouraging accelerated development.

According him As 2023 General elections drear nearer Igala people should give their support to one of their own who is selfless and cable of leading the state to emerged as Next Governor of Kogi State.

Also the group through its national president, Prince Seidu Adamu Known as Carton Boy pass vote of no confidence on the deputy governor of kogi state Chief Edward Onoja for failing to meet the yearning and aspirations of his people particularly for not
provide employment opportunities for teeming jobless youths from Igala land and call on him to resign.

Speaking on security, the issues the Group stressed the need for well meaning Igala sons and daughters should compliment government efforts to ensure that crime and criminality were brought to zero level in Igala land.
