The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), CCG Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has arrived at the venue of the 17th edition of the LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards taking place in Abuja on Tuesday morning.
The event is currently underway at the Old Banquet Hall, Aso Rock Villa, in Abuja.
CCG Adeniyi arrived at about 9:58am, accompanied by a delegation of at least 10 Customs officers clad in full Customs uniform, signalling the high-level importance of the occasion.
Adeniyi is slated to receive the prestigious ‘Public Service Person of the Year’ Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to national development and reforms within the Nigeria Customs Service.
The annual LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards, apart from serving as a veritable platform for articulating ideas for national development, also recognises individuals and institutions that have made significant impacts in governance, business, and public service across Nigeria.
