Jonathan, Others In Zaria As Emir Confers Title On Sambo

The Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamalli, has turbaned former Vice President Namadi Sambo as the Sardaunan Zazzau.

Sambo, who served as Kaduna State governor and Vice President, received the traditional title in the Emir’s Palace in the ancient city of Zaria on Saturday.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, whom Sambo served under as vice president, also attended the event.

Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani; speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; former governors and deputy governors were among  dignitaries who attended the turbaning of Sambo.

The event which was performed by the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, attracted politicians, businessmen and loyalists of the former Vice President Sambo.WW
