JUST-IN: Bauchi Gov Dissolves Local Govt Caretaker C’ttees

Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed has dissolved all the Local Government Caretaker Committees with immediate effect following the expiration of their tenure in office.

The secretary of the state government, Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim conveyed the governor Bala’s approval on Tuesday in a statement made available to journalists in Bauchi.

 

According to statement, the Chairmen local government caretaker committees are therefore directed to hand over the affairs of the local governments to their respective heads of administration pending the appointment of substantive caretaker committees.
