‎Kogi Gov Swears In Commissioner For Livestock Dev’t

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State yesterday swore in Dr. Olufemi Bolarin as the commissioner for livestock development.

At the ceremony which took place at the State Executive Council meeting in Lokoja, Governor Ododo charged the new commissioner, emphasizing the importance of innovation and commitment in driving the livestock industry forward.

He expressed confidence that Dr. Bolarin’s track record of dedication and service would be instrumental in harnessing the vast resources in the sector.

“My administration’s vision for the Ministry of Livestock Development is clear: to create jobs, ensure food security, and expand opportunities for rural communities,” he said.

The governor urged the new commissioner to work closely with stakeholders, including farmers, herders, and investors, to unlock the sector’s full potential.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Bolarin expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet and promised to discharge his duties with diligence and commitment, working tirelessly to achieve the administration’s goals.

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade Arike, congratulated Dr. Bolarin, urging him to believe in the core value of togetherness to achieve the aims of the present administration.
